About Me

I'm Christopher Giffard.

An 18 year old Student currently studying Digital Arts at the Australian National University, I have always had a fascination with technology, and now my passion is the internet.

I love creating. I enjoy creating tangible, enjoyable islands of content on the almost visceral sea of information, and I use my skills with computer systems to craft the platforms which power them.

I have designed a number of software products, many of which are in active development. I was also periodically employed by the Australian Government Department of Education, Science, and Training where I developed a Flash based, scriptable Visual Public Address system.

I am currently in the midst of setting up another wonderful project - Riot Factory. As Riot Factory, myself and a friend are developing an application to astound, amaze, and otherwise change your life. It runs on the Macintosh. It may (or may not) involve toothbrushes. It might also be very, very good.*

And just when I thought I was finished describing my current projects, another friend thought it would be a fantastic idea to set up a design studio called FluxLounge. Site, links... and just about everything else still to come.

I'm pretty proud of my uptime. If I can get to 3 and 6 months without a power failure, kernel panic, or huge gas explosion which wipes out my suburb, I'm going to have a party. :)
